This legally binding agreement governs all access, browsing, account registration, order placement, product purchase and all other use of services provided on our website. For the purposes of this agreement, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to PekinLights, with registered contact details at 32 PEKIN STREET #05-01, Singapore 048762, reachable via email at vinta@pekinlights.com and phone at +65 86458321. “You” and “your” refer to all individual users, visitors and customers who access our website, create a user account, or use any of our platform features and shopping services.

By visiting, registering an account, placing an order, or otherwise interacting with any part of www.pekinlights.com, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence), and that you have full legal capacity to enter into this binding agreement. You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by every provision outlined in these Terms of Service, alongside our independent policies including the Privacy Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, and Shipping Policy that are published on our website. If you do not agree with any part of this agreement, you are strictly prohibited from accessing or using any of our services, and you must leave our website immediately.

1. Platform Service Scope

PekinLights operates a dedicated online e-commerce platform specialized in selling residential, commercial and decorative lighting products, related accessories, lighting design consultation services, and extended product warranty packages. Our core service scope includes but is not limited to:

Display of full product catalogs with accurate specifications, pricing, inventory status and application scenario guides for all lighting items available for purchase
Secure, encrypted online checkout and transaction processing that supports multiple mainstream global payment methods
Order tracking, delivery coordination, after-sales support and customer service response for all confirmed paid orders
User account management features including saved address books, shopping cart persistence, favorite product collections, personalized product recommendation services and order history archives
Exclusive member loyalty programs, limited-time promotional activities, and priority access to new product launches for registered platform users

We continuously update our platform features and product listings to optimize your shopping experience, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of our services, temporarily or permanently, at our sole discretion, without prior notification to individual users in the event of urgent security maintenance, legal compliance requirements or unforeseen operational disruptions. We will not be held liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of any service or portion of the platform, as long as we fulfill all existing confirmed outstanding order obligations for paid purchases that have not yet been dispatched.

You acknowledge and agree that our services are provided on a commercially reasonable “as is” and “as available” basis, and we will not be responsible for temporary service interruptions caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to internet service provider outages, server hardware failures, natural disasters, regulatory mandatory suspension notices, cyberattacks, or labor strikes.

2. User Account Registration and Usage Rules

To access certain advanced features of our platform including checkout, order tracking, exclusive discounts and loyalty points, you are permitted to create a personal user account on www.pekinlights.com, under the following mandatory terms:

You must provide accurate, complete, current and valid registration information, including your full legal name, active valid email address, contact phone number and correct billing details. It is strictly prohibited to register an account using false identity information, stolen identities, or the personal details of other natural persons or legal entities without their explicit written consent.
You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials, including your account username and encrypted password. You agree not to share your account access permissions with any third party, and you will be solely and fully liable for all activities, order placements, information modification operations and other actions that occur under your user account, whether you have personally authorized those actions or not. If you detect any unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately via email vinta@pekinlights.com, so that we can lock the account and conduct a security investigation in a timely manner.
You are only permitted to hold one personal user account on our platform for non-commercial personal household shopping use. Creating multiple duplicate accounts, registering fake accounts, or using automated scripts, crawlers or bot programs to batch create accounts on our platform is strictly prohibited, and we reserve the right to permanently suspend or terminate all related accounts identified as violating this rule without issuing any prior warning.
When your account is terminated, whether by your own voluntary account deletion request or by our enforcement measures for policy violation, all your account associated data including loyalty points, unused discount coupons, saved favorite product lists, historical order records that are not required to be retained for legal compliance purposes will be processed in accordance with the terms stated in our published Privacy Policy.

We reserve the full right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to reject account registration requests, suspend active user accounts, or permanently terminate account access, if we determine that you have violated any provision of these Terms of Service, your account activities pose potential security risks to our platform, other users or the public, or you have provided fraudulent, inaccurate or incomplete registration information. After we terminate your account for policy violation reasons, you will no longer be permitted to re-register a new user account on our platform using the same or associated identity information without our explicit prior written approval.

3. Product Order, Payment and Pricing Terms

Every time you submit an order for purchase on our platform, you confirm a binding purchase contract with us that is governed by the following terms:

All product prices displayed on www.pekinlights.com are denominated in Singapore Dollars, unless explicitly marked otherwise for specific regional international order configurations, and all prices are inclusive of prevailing Singaporean Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated separately. We make every effort to ensure that all product pricing information displayed on our website is accurate, but occasional human or system errors may result in incorrectly listed prices. If we confirm that the price of the product you ordered is significantly lower than the reasonable normal market price due to an obvious pricing error, we have the right to notify you to cancel the order before shipment, even after your payment has been completed, and process a full refund back to your original payment account for the mistaken transaction.
After you submit an order and complete the payment process successfully, we will send you an official order confirmation notification via email to acknowledge receipt of your payment. This order confirmation email does not represent our formal acceptance of your purchase contract. We reserve the right to review and verify all submitted orders for anti-fraud, inventory availability and address validity purposes. Our formal acceptance of your purchase contract will only be confirmed when we send you a separate dispatch notification email informing you that the ordered product has been handed over to the logistics courier for shipment. If we are unable to fulfill your ordered product due to unexpected inventory shortages or product discontinuation, we will notify you within 5 working days after your order submission, and offer you the options of waiting for restock, exchanging for a comparable substitute product, or processing a full 100% refund with no additional fees applied.
You agree to pay the full total amount of your order, including product prices, applicable shipping fees, import duties for cross-border orders, and any other related service fees that are clearly disclosed on the checkout page before you confirm payment. All payment processing on our platform is handled through PCI DSS certified secure third-party payment providers, and we do not store full sensitive credit card or debit card information on our local servers at any time. You confirm that you hold the full legal authorization to use the selected payment method for your order transaction, and you will not initiate any unauthorized chargeback request to your payment provider without first contacting our customer support team to resolve the relevant order dispute through our official after-sales process, as outlined in our Refund and Returns Policy. Any malicious fraudulent chargeback claims that are confirmed to be unjustified will result in immediate permanent suspension of your user account, and we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies to recover all corresponding losses, including transaction processing fees, legal costs and platform operation losses caused by the abusive chargeback action.
Promotional discount codes, member exclusive coupons and loyalty point redemption benefits published on our platform are all subject to additional activity terms that are displayed alongside the promotion, and each benefit has a specified valid usage period, minimum order value requirement and permitted usage scenarios. It is strictly prohibited to resell, trade, or obtain discount coupons and loyalty points through fraudulent means including automated scripted brute-force attacks, fake order generation, or account hacking. We have the right to invalidate any improperly obtained promotional benefits, and deduct the corresponding discounted amount from your associated order payments if fraudulent activity is confirmed.

4. User Code of Conduct

When you use our platform, browse product pages, submit public reviews, interact with our customer service team, or participate in any community feature activities on www.pekinlights.com, you agree to abide by the following strict code of conduct at all times:

You will not use our platform for any illegal, unlawful, unauthorized purposes that violate local laws and regulations applicable in Singapore or your jurisdiction of residence. You will not attempt to hack our website servers, steal other users’ personal data, distribute malware, conduct DDoS attacks, or carry out any other cyber activities that damage the normal operation of our platform.
You will not upload, post, transmit or distribute any defamatory, infringing, obscene, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or legally harmful content on our platform’s public review sections, comment areas or communication channels. This includes but is not limited to content that infringes third party copyright, trademark, portrait right or other intellectual property and personal legal rights, content that contains malicious harassment or threats to our staff or other platform users, and content that spreads false information that harms the commercial reputation of PekinLights.
You will not use any automated tools including crawlers, scrapers, robots, or data mining programs to access, copy, or extract the product data, user data or website content on www.pekinlights.com for commercial resale, competitor analysis or other unauthorized purposes, without our explicit prior written permission.
You will not make false, malicious, misleading or abusive complaint claims against our products or services, in order to obtain unjustified extra compensation, free products, or undeserved refund benefits that do not comply with our published Refund and Returns Policy.

If we determine, at our sole reasonable discretion, that you have violated any rule in this User Code of Conduct, we reserve the right to take appropriate corrective actions, including issuing a formal written warning to you, temporarily restricting your platform usage permissions, removing the non-compliant content you posted, immediately suspending your ongoing order processing, or permanently terminating your user account. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities if your violation of the code of conduct constitutes a criminal offense.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content published and hosted on www.pekinlights.com, including but not limited to all product images, product description texts, website interface designs, layout structures, original videos, logos, brand trademarks, website software codes, and all related intellectual property assets, are the exclusive property of PekinLights, or we have obtained full legal authorization and usage license from the relevant intellectual property right holders. These works are protected by Singaporean Copyright Act, Trademark Act, and relevant international intellectual property copyright treaty provisions.

You are only granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable personal permission to access, browse, make personal copies of product information pages for your own personal non-commercial reference use, when you shop on our platform. You are strictly prohibited from reproducing, distributing, modifying, publicly displaying, republishing, or commercially using any of the intellectual property content on our website, without obtaining our separate explicit prior written authorization. If we discover that any user is infringing our intellectual property rights, or the intellectual property rights of our authorized partners, we will take all necessary legal measures to stop the infringing behavior, and pursue full compensation for all economic losses caused by the infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable laws of Singapore, PekinLights, our directors, employees, operation staff, agents and affiliated business partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our platform services or the products you purchased from our website. This exclusion of liability includes but is not limited to loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, loss of data, economic revenue losses, mental distress, and indirect property damage, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages occurring in advance.

In no scenario shall our total aggregate total liability to you for any and all claims arising from your use of our services exceed the total actual amount you have paid to us for the specific order or service that the claim is related to. Please note that some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability for consequential damages, so some of the above limitation clauses may not fully apply to you when you access our services from those regions.

Nothing in these Terms of Service shall exclude or limit our liability to you for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other type of liability that cannot be legally excluded or limited under the mandatory applicable laws.

7. Amendment of Terms and Governing Law

We reserve the right to update, revise, or modify the provisions of these Terms of Service at any time to adapt to changes in our business operations, new platform feature launches, updated local legal regulatory requirements, and reasonable operational adjustments. These Terms of Service shall be governed by, construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or related to this agreement, your use of our website, or the products you purchased from PekinLights, shall first be resolved through friendly amicable negotiation between both parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 calendar days from the date one party formally sends the dispute notification to the other party, both parties agree that the exclusive jurisdiction for all legal proceedings relating to the dispute shall be the courts located within the territory of Singapore.
